Update for the 2020 Antique and Classic Boat Show

At this time we regretfully need to inform everyone that this year’s show is cancelled. We all feel that for the health and safety of the exhibitors and attendees this decision is best. We are planning a “Rona Parade/Cruise” for the same date July 11 to get out on the river and away from “lockdown”. There is still time to get the boats ready and pass the word to come join us for a cruise on the river.

The route we will be taking is as follows:
• Meet in French Bay, Clayton by the ABM
• Leave @ 11:00
• Cruise along the Clayton waterfront, past Washington Island, between Round Island and the main land, past Watch Island, through Fishers Landing, The American Narrows, Millionaire Row, around Boldt Castle, along the Alex Bay waterfront and back to Clayton
• You may break off at any time during the cruise

We would like to get an approximate count of those interested, number of boats attending and crew. Then if any Chapter Members are interested we can have a Hots & Burgers for ending of the cruise at our place on Washington Island. There is plenty of docking for boats (10-12) with the use of our neighbors docks.

Please RSVP to dockmasterette@gmail.com by July 3rd so we can get supplies needed.

Come out, join us and have a good time on the River.

Next year’s show date will be Saturday July 10, 2021.

Hope to see you soon,

History of the Thousand Islands Chapter

The Thousand Islands Chapter of ACBS is unique in several ways; it is an international chapter of ACBS, having a large number of Canadian as well as U.S. members; it is the home chapter for both the Antique Boat Museum and ACBS Headquarters; and its members are from all over the map, drawn by the incomparable St. Lawrence River.
